GAI Consultants is looking for a Senior Project Manager to be part of our Power group’s Civil Engineering Department in our Orlando, FL office.  Your responsibilities will include providing project management and civil engineering support across a diverse range of civil design projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing design, management, and technical direction and oversight associated with civil components on infrastructure design projects completed in GAI's Power Business Unit.  
Deliverables typically include the oversight of preparation of associated permit applications (earth disturbance permits, land development plans, etc), Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, grading plans, design of temporary and permanent Best Management Practices (channels, culverts, infiltration, detention, and/or retention structures), design of temporary and permanent access roads, and the development of construction plans.  
Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specifications and reports, and provide technical training and guidance to less experienced staff.  
Traveling to other offices and to meet with clients and attend project specific meetings on a regular basis.
Managing tasks and staff on multiple projects in accordance with GAI’s high standards of project and financial management.
Managing and assisting with the development and presentation of qualifications.
Providing input on the preparation of an annual business plan and participating in an annual strategic business planning session.
Delivers scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and profitability of all projects managed. 
Plans and manages small to medium value projects, with a single or dual discipline focus and a low to medium risk profile. 
Directly manages up to $1 million per year of total billings with no limit to the number or value of individual projects managed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Civil Engineering
15 years related experience and/or training
Professional Engineer License required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Demonstrated working knowledge of fundamental project management financial concepts, including developing pricing, cost budget monitoring, calculating profit, etc.
Strong understanding of fundamental project management skills and use of advanced Project Management techniques and practices to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
Must be detail oriented and maintain professionalism at all times. “Client First” approach to all interactions.
