GAI Consultants is looking for a Senior EIT to support our Civil Engineering Technical Services Group in our Orlando, FL office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing technical design of civil engineering components on multi-discipline engineering projects.
Deliverables typically include Civil/Site Development and Access Road Grading Plans, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, Utility Relocation Plans, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans, Permit Application Packages (earth disturbance, land development, etc), and Construction Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimates.  
The candidate may assist with client and/or agency coordination.
The candidate may assist with the development of proposals, scopes of work, man-hour estimates and work plans for civil engineering portions of work pursuits.  
The candidate may assist with mentoring of entry level civil engineers.
Domestic travel may be required.

Bachelors (B.S.) degree from an accredited college in Civil and Environmental Engineering (M.S. degree a plus).
2-5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
Engineer Intern (EI) certification preferred (or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Knowledge of regulations associated with the various township, county, state, and federal authorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency. 
GIS proficiency is a plus.

Physical Demands and/or Other Job Information (if applicable):
Ability to hike moderate distances through unimproved terrain, utility rights-of-way, in remote areas, etc.
Ability to hear and visualize potential hazards during fieldwork or site visit situations.
