GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Junior Level Civil or Environmental Engineering in Training (EIT) to work out of our Homestead, Cranberry, Murrysville, or Southpointe, PA offices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of various permit applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, etc), Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, and grading plans.
  • Design of temporary and permanent Best Management Practices (channels, culverts, infiltration, detention, and/or retention structures).  
  • Preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, and quantity and cost estimates.  
  • Field investigations, construction support, and domestic travel may be required.  

 


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors (B.S.) degree from an accredited college in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • EIT or FE Certification or ability to take and pass the exam within six months
  • 0 to 4 years of civil engineering experience with title and salary adjusted as appropriate
  • AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency preferred
  • GIS proficiency is a plus
