We are looking for talented individuals with 12+ years’ experience who possess the ability to work in our Orlando office, who have project management and marketing capabilities, and existing client relationships to work with the team. The successful candidate must be able to perform related design/planning/engineering tasks in the water/wastewater market and have the ability to develop scope and fee proposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Technical execution and oversight of engineering projects, participation in project pursuits, management of technical projects, and mentorship and development of junior staff. 
  • Independently perform and guide others on the completion of water and wastewater projects that include distribution networking modeling collection, conveyance, network modeling, surface hydrology, infiltration/ inflow analysis, pumping stations, storage, etc. of public or private facilities. 
  • Perform master plans for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water is a plus 
  • Perform hydraulics surge analysis is a plus 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in hydraulics for water/ wastewater engineering, infrastructure, utility hydraulic modeling, stormwater and flood control management. 
  • Masters Degree in Civil Engineering - Hydraulics Specialty (preferably Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering - Hydraulics specialty) required 
  • Specialized in hydraulic modeling and design of water, wastewater, reclaimed water, and stormwater pipeline/ network systems
  • have use nearly most popular hydraulic modeling software packages 
  • Have used GIS software, such as ArcGIS and ArcMAP in context of Hydraulic modeling of water and sewer networks 
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Hydraulic modeling of water supply network and wastewater collection system using the following  software:
    • For water systems: EPANet, KYPipe, InfoWorks (WS Pro), InfoWater, WaterCAD and WaterGEM
    • For sewer (wastewater) systems: Hydra, SMWW5, H2OMapNet, InfoSewer, SewerCAD, InfoWorks ICM, MikeUrban, SewerGEMS, PCSWMM, InfoSWMM, SP-SWMM 
    • Experience in surge analysis software is a plus 
  • Florida Professional Engineer License required or ability to obtain PE License in Florida within 6 months from date of hire
  • Proven successful track record technically 
  • Professional in client management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to mentor, lead, and direct staff to accomplish strategic goals and objectives
  • Motivated to grow market share in above areas and expand Water/ Wastewater 
  • Knowledge of CFD software and applications is a plus
  • Project management preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project software
