We are looking for a Senior Roadway inspector do conduct inspections for our new FDOT highway construction work. This position will work out of our Jacksonville, FL office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments such as in-field surveying and construction layout and making and checking engineering  computations.
  • Inspect construction work and conduct field tests.
  • Coordinate and manage the lower level inspectors.
  • Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
 

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Four years of experience in construction inspection (Two years of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection with the exception of Complex Category 2 (CC2) bridge structures or a Civil Engineering degree and one year of road & bridge CEI experience with the ability to earn additional required qualifications within one year.)

including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and
traffic signal structures)

Nuclear Radiation Safety Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.
