GAI Consultants is seeking a creative, team oriented, and motivated Professional Engineer to join our Infrastructure Business Unit. They will be responsible for developing engineering reports, calculations, and design for a wide variety of private and public sector projects including construction administration support. Duties will also include general design and project management support.  This position will primarily support our Jacksonville, FL office, however duties may extend to support operations across Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Civil Engineering design, modeling, and calculations for water, wastewater, and storm water components of various public and private sector projects.
  • Participates in technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans. 
  • Permitting applications and processing.
  • Construction administration support including field observation reports.
  • Scheduling and preparation of project schedules
  • General Project Management Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering from four-year ABET accredited college or university.
  • 0-4 years related experience working with engineering consulting or similar experience. 
  • Professional Engineering License, or ability to obtain within 6 months required.
