This person will perform field review of distribution lines from 4kV to 35kV and perform assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize various software to compare proposed electrical distribution designs with actual field conditions
  • Perform field visits for Sr. Technicians aiding in their designs
  • Assist Sr. Technicians as required
  • After field experience will start designing basic distribution systems
  • May interface with clients and customers
  • Learn quickly and apply knowledge from past projects to current designs
  • Travel and review of field electrical distribution facilities will be a major activity

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in design, operation,or maintenance of distribution lines
  • Must have prior experience utilizing CADD software 
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as material quantities,proportions, dimensions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to drive safely and obey traffic laws
